Medium: original lithograph. This lithograph was printed for the front cover of the 1957 "Improvisations" portfolio, published by the Artists Equity Association of New York on the occasion of the 1957 Spring Fantasia Masquerade Ball at the Hotel Astor. Leading artists on the New York art scene were invited to contribute original lithographs in the form of advertisements for businesses sponsoring the Artists Equity Association; these sponsors gave the artists complete creative freedom of expression.

This impression was printed on wove paper in an edition of 2000. Size: 11 3/4 x 8 3/4 inches (300 x 224 mm). Please note, this listing is for the front cover lithograph only and does not include any other lithographs from this edition. Signed in the plate (not hand-signed).

Condition: there is age-toning and wear to the paper and the edges of the sheet have been trimmed. There is a different lithograph on the back, as published.
